While reading H.P. Lovecraft's The Festival I came across something that might very well end up on a christmas card someday:
It was the Yuletide, that men call Christmas though they know in their hearts it is older than Bethlehem and Babylon, older than Memphis and mankind.
Ain't that just the truth?
