After about five years and five months, today was officially my last day of work at my current job. OK, so technically I haven’t worked a full day this year, but still, today was the end of an era. Next monday, March 1st 2010, my current job ceases to exist.
The last two, three weeks were a bit hectic. All of a sudden everybody wanted a piece of me. I had job interviews in Amsterdam, Zwolle, Utrecht and Amsterdam again. Let’s just say that if I got as much attention from the ladies as from recruiters and head hunters, well… I’d be all of that and a bag of chips.
Eventually, one of those interviews led to a second round, the second round led to a job offer, and as of next monday, March 1st 2010, I got a brand-spanking new job.
