Last wednesday, I had a day off from painting my new apartment, as I had a ticket to see Acda en De Munnik‘s latest show, ‘t Heerst. And while I enjoyed the evening, I’m still not quite sure what to think of it. Musically it was as good as ever, but the bits in between … I just don’t know. The bit about Gordon and the very bad play on words about a CD stuck in a radio (Ja, maar de CD zit vast. Ja, vast. Vast, ja.
) were hilarious though.

Almost all of the tracks from their latest album were worked into the show, but unfortunately, my favorite track didn’t make it. The lyrics of that song remind me why I like these guys so much: Ik heb al wat klasiek is wel gedaan / Ik heb onderaan je raam gestaan / Ik schreef je gedichten, ach een paar / Vijfhonderzesendertig maar…
